Current projects of JVM:-
The unprecedented killer Tsunami that struck the coast of South India on
the Black Sunday on December 26, 2004, left a trail of death and destruction killing more
than 4,000 people, rendering thousands of people homeless.
The JVM is taking achieve measures to rehabilitate the affected persons,
by providing permanent rehabilitation to enable them attain normality in their lives and
eke out their livelihood as they did earlier through various measures as enshrived in pages
relate to specific programmes.
To achieve this, the JVM has planned to: (A few to mention)
- Establish a children's home accommodating 500 children affected by Tsunami.
- Establish a home for 300 old age persons, who are victims of Tsunami.
- Awareness programmes to the Tsunami affected people of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry states.
- Leading all categories of people towards Christ.
- Establish community schools and community colleges.
- Form groups of deserving poor, to be self reliant through our "Micro Enterprise Development" programme.
