The Ministry intends to maintain old age homes to accommodate old age people neglected by their wards, and who are without any relatives to take care of them. At present we are caring a few wards, in a temporary fetched sheds. The ministry provides the basic requirements of the inmates. Since the old age people need constant medical attention and care, the JVM conducts regular medical check-ups to the inmates. When an emergency rises, we attend immediately to the need of the individual.
Due to Tsunami and lack of water most of the farmers are affected and they are not able to cultivate their land. The people are deprived of their income and looking their aged parents has become a great burden to them. People wish to provide a place to take care of their parents. So, we had decided to open an old age home to take care of aged people. We also take care of widows. We don't have a proper place to protect these peoples. So please pray for this aged people and help liberally for the establishment of old age homes.
