Due to rising unemployment, alcoholism of men folk has shattered the life of women and students alike. Thus the JVM imparts training in self reliance programmes to unemployed youth and women in sewing, computer and candle making. We conduct various programmes for women's empowerment.
Due to poverty, most of them could not able to manage their family. In order to improve their condition JVM has started many small scale industries and train them to get relief from their poverty. Some of the training provided by us are candle making, tailoring, showcase product, handicrafts, etc. Through this training we improve their standard of life and enable them to have a happy and peaceful life.
We are further encouraging and enrolling poor women in village to form a group of 20.Where a leader in the region is responsible for monitoring and collecting the weekly payment from the members. Each member will be given 3-5 thousand rupees for petty business like flower, Idlishop, fish trade, etc. The recollected amount shall further be loaned for micro enterprise development (other groups).
